4G internet with Link installation network

Internet connection

The Link is connected to the internet through a mobile network connection. No further setup is required.

Local installation network

The Link functions as a router. Ethernet ports ETH1 and ETH2 can be used to add installation components to the network. The network can be expanded using network switches or wireless access points where necessary. See Using the Link installation network for more details.

Installation component IP settings

IP address (range)10.1.X.X

Link IP settings

The following fixed IP settings are used.

IP address10.1.0.1
Subnet mask255.255.0.0

Do not add another router to the Link network. This may cause network instability and devices may become inaccessible for the Link.
