Onboarding components

On this page you onboard the components one by one. For every component, fill in the New device form:

1. Manufacturer. Select it from the set of supported manufacturers. All of them are listed under Supported components.

2. Model. Select the specific model.

   Some components require an additional license from the manufacturer to read data and/or send back control signals. In that case a popup appears.

   License is required in order to read data from this device.

3. Protocol. If the model supports more than one protocol (because of several versions), choose the right one. Otherwise it is filled in for you.

   Each protocol has its own page:

   • Onboarding BACnet IP devices
   • Onboarding Modbus TCP devices
   • Onboarding Modbus RTU devices
   • Onboarding LoRaWAN devices
