Chapter 2 · Component Onboarding

Bulk onboarding LoRaWAN devices

To onboard many LoRaWAN devices at once, fill in a template and import it.

  1. Download the template. Download lorawan-template.csv.

  2. Fill in the fields. Add one row per device. The two rows in the template are examples: replace them with your own devices.

    Column What to fill in
Manufacturer The manufacturer, for example MClimate
Model The model, for example Vicki
    SerialNumber The serial number
DevEui The Device EUI: 16 hexadecimal characters
AppEUI The Join EUI: 16 hexadecimal characters
AppKey The App Key: 32 hexadecimal characters
FirmwareVersion The firmware version, for example 1.0.0
NwkKey The Network Key: 32 hexadecimal characters (optional, may be left empty)

This information comes with the CSV file you receive when you purchase a LoRaWAN device. If you purchased the device from Integer and do not have the CSV file, contact info@integer.energy.

  3. Import the file. In Component Onboarding, click Import LoRaWAN devices, below Add Component, and upload the filled-in template.

  4. Check the devices. The imported devices appear under Installation Components, grouped per component type, with the Protocol Configuration filled in.
