Chapter 3 · Indexing of Datapoint lists (for BMS)

Indexing BACnet IP datapoints

  1. Configure the protocol address. Select the protocol BACnet and enter the BACnet Device ID of the BMS you are connecting to. Then click Create Address.

    If the installation has more than one Link, make sure the right one is selected under Link Hardware: the Link that is connected to the BMS you want to index.

  2. Upload the EDE file. After you have set up the address, upload the EDE file of the BMS under Datasheet. You can also add diagrams; they are optional.

    Make sure the first row of the CSV holds the column names. See Prepare the file.

  3. Start the classification. Once you have uploaded the file, click Start Classification.
