Building KPIs

  1. Add a metric. Click Add Your First Metric or + New Metric. The New Dashboard Metric window appears.

  2. Select the metric type from the drop-down: Energy Usage, CO₂ Emissions, Energy Costs, Thermal Comfort Score, Air Quality Score, WEii Score, or a custom type.

  3. Select the carrier, if relevant (for energy-related metrics): Electricity, Gas or Heat.

  4. Select the datapoint that should be used for the metric. If the datapoint is directly measured (for example an energy reading), you can directly pick it. If the metric is computed from other datapoints, first create a formula (see Formula builder).

  5. Select the rollup function.

    Rollup function Meaning
Sum Sum all the values in the selected time window
Average The average of the values
Avg Working Hours The average over working hours (Mon–Fri 07:30–18:00)
Delta The last reading minus the first reading
  6. Set the unit, and then click Save Metric Card.

The KPI cards

You will then see the KPI cards, with a trend line over the selected time period. For the predefined KPI cards, you can see some additional information based on the value.
