  1. Select the Link. In Workflows, choose Radiator Valve Optimization. Select which Link you want to deploy the algorithm to. You then end up in the schedule configuration, in two parts: Building & Baseline and Rooms & Schedules.

  2. Set the building insulation and pre-heating. The digital twin needs data in order to create a thermal model of each room. At the start, the pre-heating is set to 60 min during weekdays, with 120 min pre-heating on Mondays. You can modify this with the bar, or change it directly via the advanced tab.

You can also enable Predictive Preheating, where a small deviation to the pre-heating will be applied based on predicted weather conditions.

  3. Set the comfort profile. The baseline setpoint will be applied to any time outside of the set schedules. For the schedules, you can select which days and what time for the comfort setpoint.

If you put conflicting schedules, a warning will pop up.

  4. Continue to rooms. Once the comfort schedule is set up, click Next: Continue to Rooms. Here you determine to which rooms this schedule will be applied. If you click Select All Rooms, all rooms receive this schedule. If you disable the toggle of a room, the schedule is removed from that room.

The rooms shown here are based on the rooms created during the on-site onboarding. If there is more than one radiator valve in a given room, the schedule gets applied to all valves.

  5. Edit the schedule of a specific room. If you click on the calendar icon of a room, you can edit the schedule of that specific room, so you can set a different schedule from the main one you defined.

  6. Save and Sync to Link. Click Save and Sync to Link to deploy to the Link, and the algorithm is deployed!

After the deployment

As the radiator valves gather data, the model of the room can be created. This process is done automatically behind the scenes. You will receive a notification when it is possible to deploy the digital twin.

You can see the results via the Insights page on the side menu.
