Our flagship product, the LINK, is a plug-and-play platform for the remote management, control, and optimization of energy installations. It empowers installers to perform better and more efficient maintenance, while enabling building owners to enhance indoor comfort, reduce CO2 emissions, and address local grid congestion.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, part of our product team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining dedicated software for our hardware platform.

Summary
  • Full-time position as an Embedded Software Developer starting Q2 2025
  • English as a working language (Dutch is a plus)
  • Location: TU/e Campus (Option to work hybrid)
As an embedded developer at Integer you will
  • Set up dedicated software for high-reliability embedded Linux devices that will be deployed on site with clients
  • Handle the configuration of system software services
  • Develop low-level microcontroller software
What you need
  • Proficiency in Linux systems, including command-line interfaces and Embedded Linux (Yocto Project/Buildroot).
  • Strong programming skills, including object-oriented programming and low-level development in C/C++.
  • Experience with software containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
  • Knowledge of microcontroller (MCU) programming, real-time systems, and communication protocols.
  • Understanding of state-of-the-art embedded security standards and their implementation.
  • Ability to read PCB schematics and circuit diagrams
  • Residing in the Netherlands and fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience collaborating on projects with multiple stakeholders.
Nice to have
  • Prior experience developing and implementing embedded software for functional testing of custom hardware
  • Prior experience working with the IMX CPU family from NXP
  • Experience using JTAG
